Happy Tuesday friends,
It's the small things that leaders often point when answering the question, how did you get to be so successful. It is those small steps that we should pay attention to that help illuminate the road map that leads to personal success.
Many of you who know me can attest that I often point to process development as an important tool teams and individuals have to solve problems. Some experts say process identification is one of the first things a good leader can do when faced with a set of problems that need fixing.
"Sweating the small stuff" is one of the ways I've found to express the way I've led teams in the past. Recently, I came across a book by Admiral William H. McRaven entitled Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Life...And Maybe the World. It's a quick read - 125 pages - and well worth it.
